— and the SAQs you’ll wish you'd asked!
(For future, current, and freshly‑graduated students of the Mórrígan Intensive 6 Month Programme)
BEFORE YOU ENROLL
1 · How much time will this actually take?
Most people keep pace on 2‑3 hours a week - roughly one TV‑episode a day for half the week. A few grads found that a daily 60‑minute slot felt smoother than a Saturday cram‑fest.
Built‑in “rest & reflection” weeks mean you can stumble, breathe, and catch up without panic.
SAQ – What’s the sneaky time‑sink?
Scrolling classmates’ check‑in videos. Plan boundaries or surrender cheerfully.
2 · What does it cost and what do I get?
Three tiers - Foundations, Community, Mentor - run €650 → €950 → €1 400, with six‑month payment plans. Every tier gets the 26‑week curriculum and 11 months’ access; higher tiers add peer community or personal feedback from Lora.
SAQ – Is there a scholarship?
Yes. Join the wait‑list early for first dibs; no heroic essay required, though many recipients happily volunteer in‑group.
3 · I’m juggling life chaos - what if I fall behind or need to pause?
Life happens. If you slip during the six‑month run, jump back in at the current week; you can loop the missed lessons during the five‑month grace period that follows.
Alumni who stepped away mid‑course still report solid growth when they returned.
SAQ – Can I binge the material faster?
Content is released week by week - it's important to let the experiential work land before you smash the “next” button.
4 · Do I need to be Irish - or already an expert?
No and no. Cohorts contain beginners, PhDs, and lore nerds who all start with Week 1’s “Who Is She?” scaffold.
The work meets you where you are; depth comes from how honestly you engage, not how fancy your bookshelf is.
5 · Is the course ND‑friendly?
High‑contrast slides, captions, transcripts, bullet‑point summaries, flexible pacing, and weekly silent co‑working (body‑doubling) on the Peer Support path, are baked in.
6 · Do I need fancy tools?
A candle, a journal, and internet access will get you through. Everything else is optional bling.
DURING THE INTENSIVE
7 · Are the guided journeys just imagination or real Otherworld travel?
They start in your psyche and open outward; think “inner doorway to an external landscape.” Discernment is part of the lesson.
8 · Sample debate - What does “protect your death” mean in the Cú Chulainn tale?
Early Irish comairce can read “guard/keep.” Students debate whether the Goddess is preventing or timing his death - welcome to manuscript life.
9 · How do I handle ancestor veneration without trapping the dead?
Traditional view: the dead rest nearby; respectful visits don’t chain them. Ask, listen, accept a “no.”
10 · What counts as service to the Mórrígan?
Anything that defends sovereignty or feeds community: writing informed book reviews, moderating spaces, activism, land clean‑ups, skill‑shares. Yes, recommending solid resources absolutely counts.
SAQ – Do I have to be an activist?
Service is required; activism is one flavour. Lobbying city council or mentoring newbies both honour Her.
11 · How do I avoid burnout in a six‑month sprint?
Cycle push/rest like moon phases, track cortisol spikes, and let the cohort mirror your limits. Rest is part of the work.
12 · Tech gremlins: resources missing, videos won’t upload - help!
Every lesson page has a Downloads tab. If tech snarls, email directly, or ask in the Peer Support Group; a moderator will hop on with you, someone will drop a link or a router‑reset tip within minutes.
AFTER (INTEGRATION PHASE)
13 · I’ve finished the 26 weeks - now what?
Think spiral, not finish‑line. Alumni recommend:
-
Recap - re‑watch key videos, harvest journal gems.
-
Rest - one lunar cycle minimum.
-
Refocus - choose one theme for the next season and go deep. 2025 Mórrígan Intensive…
14 · Should I repeat the Intensive?
If the spiral tugs - yes. There will be a special Alumni rate offered the year following your first Class.
Returning students say the second lap lands differently once foundations are lived rather than theoretical.
15 · I never finished all 26 weeks - did I fail?
Absolutely not. Many who paused at Week 20 (or Week 8!) still deepened devotion and re‑enrolled when life allowed.
Measure success by transformation, not boxes ticked.
16 · Priesthood still scares the shite out of me - is that okay?
Yes. One alum avoided the priesthood module for months, then realised the oath is invitation, not default.
You're encouraged to explore at your pace; service can look like activism, art, or daily offerings.
17 · Daily practice feels flimsy without weekly structure - help!
Return to basics: water offering, candle flame, honest chat.
Layer dark‑moon drumming, Ogham pulls, or land work only after the core habit feels solid.
18 · Where’s community once the cohort space closes?
Downloads stay live through your grace period [11 months total]; the general Mórrígan Membership Community offers ongoing circles, seasonal workshops, and tattoo‑progress threads.
19 · How do I pace myself for the long game?
Alternate action and recovery as deliberately as you track moon phases. Celebrate small wins; schedule downtime before the crash.
20 · My wallet’s in famine mode - can I come back later?
Early‑bird discounts and scholarships recur annually (make sure you're on the waiting list before May to receive that info!). Meanwhile, free Mórrígan Academy videos and podcasts keep momentum without draining the cauldron.
QUICK‑FIRE SAQs
Q | Why it matters | One‑liner |
---|---|---|
What happens after Bealtaine access ends? | Avoid post‑course void. | Alumni can re‑enrol at a discount or join further‑studies circles. |
How do I know it’s really Her calling? | Saves crow‑chasing. | Consistent offerings + lore study + meaningful synchronicities over time. |
Can I work faster? | Over‑achiever itch. | The Weekly drip is important; integrate before the next click. |
Is there a content warning? | Trauma prep. | Weekly guides flag gore, assault, colonial trauma so you can resource first. |
How long till I feel normal after initiation wobbles? | Ego‑shedding hurts. | Give it one full wheel of the year - you’re molting, not broken. |
Final Word
The Mórrígan Intensive isn’t a passive playlist; it’s a living contract with a sovereignty goddess who expects you to show up, do the work, and bring the benefits back to your people.
If that prospect excites more than it terrifies, you’re already on the path.
Fáilte isteach - onward, warriors.
