Lora is a modern Draoí – a practitioner and priest of indigenous Irish magic and spirituality, in the simplest terms. She has been consciously following a Pagan path for over 25 years, and dedicated specifically to the Irish Goddess Mórrígan in 2004.
She is the author of seven books on Irish history, mythology, folklore, witchcraft, Pagan practice and priesthood. Her eighth book, on the Mórrígan, will be published by Llewellyn (2025). She managed one of Ireland's most important sacred sites - Cruachán/Rathcroghan, where the Mórrígan resides - for a decade. This is Uaimh na gCat, the Cave of the Cats, the most sacred site of this Irish Goddess.
Lora is the founder of the Ogham Academy, a co-founder and legal celebrant with Pagan Life Rites Ireland, and with her partner, Jon O'Sullivan, she is the co-founder of the Irish Pagan School. Lora was awarded a Masters Degree in Irish Regional History (2023, SETU) with First Class Honours, on the topic of Ogham and Irish Identity.
I started the Mórrígan Intensive, in a much simpler format, way back in 2014. Although completion doesn't convey initiation, it is designed to provide training and community for those who wish to explore if a Priesthood with the Mórrígan is the right path for them. Or not!
Over the years, I've worked with hundreds of students and alumni to grow this programme to what it is today - a comprehensive, in-depth exploration of what it means, truly, to walk in Right Relationship with a fully supportive community of peers, and with the Irish Goddess Mórrígan.
The Morrigan Intensive 6 month Programme is a wild ride folks, I'll not lie to ye. We get to know ourselves a little bit deeper and a little bit better every year we engage with it. But it takes work, and for many people it's work they have never done before. So, their lives getblown wide open, and they have to rebuild with what's right, with what matters and is meaningful. Be prepared.
In this course, we provide the practical, step by step instructions for how to connect, and build your personal relationship with the Morrigan. This new site provides a home and the community resources to provide the best student experience yet, for the 2024 programme and beyond.
