Who Is Teaching?
Lora O’Brien (they/she) has walked an Irish Pagan path for over 30 years and has served as a dedicated Priest of the Mórrígan since 2004. They professionally managed the sacred site of Cruachan in County Roscommon, which holds the Mórrígan’s Cave, for ten years, hold an MA in Irish Regional History from SETU, and have authored eight books on Irish tradition, including ‘The Morrigan: Ireland’s Goddess’ (Llewellyn, 2025), which is fast becoming one of the top selling books on the Mórrígan available anywhere.
When Lora teaches about the Mórrígan, it isn’t reconstruction or interpretation, it’s lived, placed, and accountable to the actual Irish tradition, from someone who’s been in that relationship for more than three decades, in the country the Mórrígan comes from.
The Real Work Bootcamp itself is the only Mórrígan specific event of it's kind taught by a native Irish devotee with this kind of source grounding, and it runs free of charge as a community service offering, which is part of why it’s worth waiting for.
